I would take to my nice neighbors and together we would get as many rooster as we could and driver he out of town!:rant LOL

Hahah ;) I agree, my neighbours were great about my chickens, one of them breeds pugs so they really weren't in a position to complain hahah hope your horses have got used to the goats, I really want some pigmy goats but we don't have the room! Best wishes for your family and Spock, May he crow loudly!

Spock and Warren Harding crowed a duet this morning at 5:00 AM. It wasn't daybreak yet but I guess Crazy Lady must like the crowing. Every light on the front of her house was on-all 12 of them. They completely illuminate the coop. Spock said... it's time to wake up. I'm not usually awake at that hour but today I have been up since very early thanks to the puppy. Yesterday she ate something... who knows what... and she wanted outside every 15 minutes starting at 4:00 AM so something could shoot out of one or both of her ends. Fortunately she seems to have a digestive system made of iron and successfully expelled whatever was upsetting her. I decided that today she should have a bland diet-rice and just a little wet food for flavor. She did not like that and decided that if I didn't feed her then she would feed herself. She ate the bowl of cat food in bed with our 17 year old cat. Then she climbed up on the table and ate the other bowl of kitty food. In the coop I turned my back for a second and she consumed probably two cups of chicken food. I don't know how much horse poop she ate but she topped it all off with a wooden clothespin. I don't know where that came from. Puppys.....

But in the midst of all that we had an excellent day with the baby goats! I finally got Mimi to the point where she can stand near them and not shake and whine. This has made the baby goats much happier. They jump down off their shelf and eat near me... and near the dogs as well. And today June made cute little goat noises when she saw me! They are still not convinced that the dogs (and the horses) are not trying to get them. But they do seem to believe that I have some type of control over the other animals...it's a good place to start.

Awww they are soooo cute, would love goats myself! Keep us updated, it's so rude of that lady to keep those lights on, imagine the electricity bill! You would think she'd realise that that would only make them crow earlier! Our puppy was a little rascal to, always tearing up toys etc. however it only lasted a few months and luckily hasn't gone back to her old ways.
