Neighbors Cat

Those generally work. I'd also talk to the neighbor. I know if one of my barn cats roams, I want to know about it, will thank you, come get him and do what it takes to keep him home.

;) If you have any roosters or broody hens, maybe consider free-ranging a bit. I have a scad of cats and none of them dare stalk a chicken - my roosters see to that! I used to have a great big strapping male cat, Karma, who in his youth (he already weighed 15 lbs and stood as tall as my knee though) thought he'd stalk a broody's chicks. The sight of him streaking across the yard with that hen riding him like a rodeo cowboy, both of them shrieking as loud as they could will be forever vivid in my mind!

Cat poo in the garden isn't good. Another use for electric fencing? A motion sensor activated sprinkler?

You should see the mushrooms that pop up a week later :sick They smell so bad and are so hard to get rid of. When ever I see her I spray her with the hose.

We had someone's cat coming over at night, pooping. Didn't know who's cat so I got some fly tape & suspended it in my patio but making sure it will come loose when pulled. I then put a chicken bone attached to the loose end. Cat never came back & the fly tape was gone, ha ha.

Another time we set a home made cat trap for what I thought was a mongoose coming around. Caught someone's long haired cat, beautiful cat with the saddest eyes. So I released it but made sure I draped a fly tape on it's back as it ran.

Love that fly tape :thumbsup
