Neighbors chickens attacked one is left

Our family friend neighbors have had 3 chickens for the past year they originally had 8 but the others were killed by a raccoon. Yesterday my neighbor said that both of their chickens were missing and feather have been spread around the yard there’s one left but it’s too scared to come out from it’s hiding spot by the grill it’s injured but I can’t really get to it. We were thinking that we could bring it over to our house where we have 8 young chickens that are significantly younger than it. Any thoughts? Is this a good idea? It’s their last chicken and they don’t seem to care much for it anymore.

Maybe you could put the older chicken in an insolation pen until your younger chicks are bigger. Or, maybe it won't be an issue as there is only one older chicken and she probably would like the company of other chicks. In any case, it does not sound like your neighbor's hen will last very long on her own, given that the owners have lost interest in her.

You could try and get it to come for food and water, and check it over for it’s injuries to see how bad they are. Then if you want to help her, ask them if they mind giving her to you. Keep her separated from your chickens in a large wire dog crate with food and water. Then take some pictures of her and post them. What do you have for first aid supplies?

I agree that if they don't seem to want her you could give her a much better life.
I would personally quatanteen her from yours for at least a little while. If she's injured she will need treatment and the stress from that and a move could bring up illnesses she may not show otherwise. If she seems healthy after a time I would introduce them. That will also give yours a little time to grow.

I only have vetricyn and other basic stuff for humans like rubbing alcohol

Vetericyn is good to spray the wounds. Please post some pictures of wounds. She can be in quarantine while she is recovering. Usually a month is good to look for symptoms of illness. It also would be a good time to worm her if you worm your chickens.
