i would never take it to a shelter . the shelters have very bad habits of adoping them back out but neglecting to inform the new owners that they just adopted a chicken killer. then the new owners are stuck in a bad position. that hapened to some one i know that rescued 2 dogs from a shelter . he was told the owner serendered them because of job loss and couldnt aford them. he was told that they were raised around many other animals and that the previous owner had never had a problem with them. after the dogs killed 2 lambs 20+ chickens, a turkey and injured their pet donkey he took them to the shelter (after shooting them while they were eating his chickens) it was a new employee that hapend to be in that day when he went in. when she looked at the dogs histery she told them that they should have NEVER been placed in a home with other animals. he actualy read the background sheet that was filled out when the dogs first came in and the owner had stated the dogs killed 2 rabits and a cat. they had never shown him that when he adopted them.

GPS ????? OR Micro chip ????? My dogs are all micro chipped. It is supposed to go between the front shoulder blades. You do need to have a specific or VERY expensive all brand, hand held little ditty that reads the micro chip number.
You aren't going to find them...they're inserted under the skin. They can migrate too.
Shoot the dogs, shoot the neighbors and be done with it all. End of problem. Since they don't care about you and your livestock just don't care about them either.
So tired of these useless people that don't care about others and their property. I just went out last wk end and bought 5 ft high chainlink fence....to go INSIDE my fenced in yard....to pen my duckies in. I have 7 Bantams and am expecting 20 more ducks in a wk or so. This chainlink run is going to be 15 ft w x 42 ft long. Guess what that cost me ??? But I don't want my kids eaten. And I'm very tired of useless Ba_ _ tards.

I agree with ya Liz! But unfortunately most here don't believe like us. LOL The world doesn't need any more like that neighbor and shurely wont miss 1 or 2. LOL hahaha

GPS or Micro chip. If that dog comes to my property again, and if I have the opportunity to shoot it dead, I will. Then I will call the police, animal control and tell them to get the owner over here to pick up the dead animal. Anyway, I don't have any updates yet except for the fact that 10 days are almost up and I havent heard a word from the neighbor. So I guess I am taking the pictures and the reports as well as the owner to court. I will let you know what comes next. Thanks for all the support!

Sounds like this has really gone bad and I wish you the best of luck in court...maybe you two can actually come to an agreement and not have to go to court...but if not..Good Luck.

I had to take a neighbor to court because of their dogs. Just think of it as entertainment. It's even more of a pain for the defendant. It was worth going just to see them make fools of themselves in front of the judge. The look on the judge's face was priceless as they said the most shockingly stupid things.
