Neighbors poisoning birds

Has anyone else had their birds poisoned intentionally? We need a support group. This is Hawk; she's 11.5 years old and the sole survivor of my sociopath neighbor poisoning my babies. Not because of them, but to hurt me. They were my babies and if you've had you're birds poisoned I don't need to tell you how horrible it is, how cruel and how permanently traumatizing. Hawk was beyond devastated. She wouldn't get out of my lap for 2 months and i could barely get her to eat. I can't express what I wanted, and still want, to do to him. He's not worth me going to prison, but my god, what he deserves....
Hawk is the sweetiest birds. She cried, horrible vocalizations, the night she went to be without her best friend for the first time.

I'm sorry you both had to go through that. Do you have any proof your neighbor poisoned them? I would install cameras if you haven't already. Are you planning on getting more chickens? The cameras can be a nice deterrant for the neighbor. So would the police

Luckily, he moved, but you better believe I put up cameras...8 of them. He then called police and sent a cop to my door after convincing her he was afraid of me, I had mental health issues and I was recording into his daughter's bedroom (which I clearly wasn't doing with motion activated trail cameras.
I have as much proof they were poisoned as you can really have, but not that it was him. It was obviously him, but courts don't take obviously as proof. Police don't care, though. When I found another batch of poison the cop said, "someone was probably liming their yard" and didn't even take a report. 'Cause, yeah, when someone limes their yard, there is always no lime in their yard and a pile in the neighbor's fenced yard. Not to mention it was cleary not garden lime. Cops don't care and just tell you you're imagining things even though they can see it too.

Im sorry you had to go through this. Our old backdoor neighbors would shoot air pellet guns at my chickens probably because they were loud when egg laying and ir annoyed them, then we put cameras up and he moved. They were probably trying to hurt me and my chickens.

With him it was definitely about me. He got mad because when he cut down an apple tree that was on the property line after I said "no", I had the audacity to get upset, so he poisoned my babies. He also tried to set my fence on fire 4x (once on camera), cut down another apple tree in my yard then buried the trunk a foot down so I wouldn't notice right away and a whole bunch of other bullsh!t. Unhinged sociopath.
