I've had this happen too. Of course you love your big guy, he's your pet. I too had put my guy in a cage in the house, but it didn't work out, as I was sure people could still hear him. Its never easy to have to give up one of your special pets. Hopefully, he is going to a great home. I understand, no one can care for him the way you do. Its okay. Ask for the new owners to keep you posted on how he is doing. Wishing you the best.
