Neighbours nuisance chickens

We want to get a fence but with such a big yard, even just to put one up between the 2 houses was over 9000 :( and we can’t afford that right now

I assume you are hiring someone to do it.....

Field fence and T -posts perhaps?

Are you in a fancy neighborhood?
HOA?

Hoping there is a more affordable option.

What are the local laws/ordinances? Do you have any grounds to address it legally? Generally they get a warning first. I actually have a friend who eventually went to jail for a day for "pigs at large" lol as he never kept track of their whereabouts and the neighbors had had ENOUGH the 3rd go round.

Every time they come onto your property, catch them, put them in a cage and then call and tell your neighbor to come to pick them up. Hopefully, he'll get tired of coming over and picking them up and will put up a fence or lock them up.

so I have a small flock of chickens that I keep in a pen for various reasons. However my neighbours have a ton of free range chickens. They are eating my garden and ruining my landscaping. We aren’t very friendly with them since we’ve also had issues with their aggressive dog and 20 plus cats that also are free. So I don’t really feel like talking to them once again about the chickens.
Is there anything I can do to keep them off my yard?
Has animal control been involved
Are other neighbors having the same problems?

Who owns the trees on the treeline? If they're yours, you can run a line of stock fencing along them. That's fairly inexpensive and the trees would hide it from view.
This is an excellent idea^^^
What does the treeline look like?
Some pics might help.
