Nekkid Chicken story in Farm Show

Didn't know if anyone here reads Farm Show magazine/newspaper, but my dad pointed out an article called "Featherless Chickens can take the heat". Somehow I figured that a chicken without feathers would not be able to take the heat...

Reading further, it talks about raising them in warm climate only, keeping them at 86 degrees, inside only, and that they'd eat 10% less food, due to not having to produce feathers. Weird looking bird.
 
I have seen these birds before, at a university. They are very delicate and need a well controlled climate. They can't handle much sun, heat or cold.
