Loupan...just wnted to update you. I have one healthy htch, all fluffed, one I helped PIP who is in the egg but breathing, and 2 died (one in the egg and one in the egg as I was helping it...it drowned, backward in the egg).

Hoping the one still trying to come out makes it.

i have gone into lockdown now had a wee look last night before bed and i could see nothing just black it does look bigger though lol but there is still a good airsac so im hopeing all will go well i would hate to get this far and the poor bugger die its only a small egg the smallest out of all 6 so it seems to be a fighter

typically you will not need to help. I only did since we're approaching day 25, I found one dead, then realized the other was backward in the egg.

what day will i normally start to see egg move or hear noices i sappose each chick is different i will just keep checking

and im right i have my humidity around 55-65 is this correct what about heat i just keep that as it was dont i ? oh my lordy ha ha ha ha talk about nervous ,and i have found someone who has got some silky chicks hatching today so im picking 2 up tomorrow so excited realy realy hop my chick makes it we have named it already lol

Whew!!! So far I have 13 hatched and most of them are dried out. I did help another little one out when I got back tonight. It seemed the egg membrane was dried around the pip and it was mostly opened so I flipped the lid and it popped out. It still had the cord on it but it seems ok too. the hatcher brooder I made seems a little crowded now that they are all moving around, do you think I should leave them in there nice and warm or should I move them to another box with a heat lamp? the first ones are already pecking at food. I have about 12 more that haven't hatched yet, but they weren't due until tomorrow anyway. Any advice? Thanks.
