So all of my chickys are hatching or pipping (except for four eggs) and two of them pipped and broke out some but nothing more. The first one was like this since yesterday and the second one has been like this all day and I’m terrified! The membranes are turning brown and I’m so scared! Should I help? They are very much alive and chirping away but can’t seem to get out! Any advice is much appreciated!!

so sorry, the pictures are out of order, it’s the other way around! The second picture is the chick since yesterday

Don't touch them. Spray some water, keep warm and wait. The shell part inside the pencil line circle is safe to remove, it has no veins, you can remove it if you want, but all the other parts can lead to bleeding and death

How long has the first one been pipped? What os your humidity at? Whatever it's at, you need to up it. Those chicks look very dried out. They might be shrink wrapped. Go into the bathroom and run a really hot shower, get the bathroom super steamy. Take those two eggs in there and rub coconut oil on the membrame to moisten it some. Then put them back and raise the humidity in your incubator. Make sure you don't get oil in or on their bills. Do you see any yawning motions?

Humidity is reading 75-76. First one pipped yesterday morning. Looking for the oil now!! Thank you!

Put your humidity at 80-85%. It's apparently too low for them. Is your humidity gauge correct? I'm wondering if it isn't wrong. Do you have any other hydrometers laying around you could pop in? You're welcome, glad I could help.

Yes I have an extra humidity reader in there and it’s reading the same 75-76. They will be okay with 80-85 humidity? Thank you!
