Nervous wreck!

Last night was the girls first night out in the coop -

Can I just tell you that I had dreams all night long that either the heat lamp burned out & they froze to death, or that it fell into the shavings & started a fire, or a coyote got them.

Hopefully it'll be a little easier tonight!

Had the same feelings the first night we had our chicks. It's now a week and a half later and we are getting ready to move them from the house to the garage which is colder and ill probably worry all night. It does get get better over time. Good luck.

Mine wont be going out for a long time but I know I will be a wreck too. Glad Im not the only one who dreams about chicks!
