"Nessie" found?

Hubby says this is a boat, I'm not so sure. Wouldn't necessarily swear it's Nessie, either, but it is intriguing.

It looks odd, doesn't it, but it doesn't look like what I imagined the Loch Nest Monster to be either. It looks like a oval with tenticles coming off of it. I am a practical person so I know that there is some boring explanation for this.

Is there anything that would trail behind an overturned boat that would make the vessel have such an appearance from the air? Could netting of some sort produce the illusion of tenticles?

I have no idea if boats are allowed to use nets on the Loch Ness. I think what's most interesting to me is that this picture was taken by the Google Earth satellite, so there's very little chance it was staged since it would be hard to know when/where the satellite would take still shots.

Sure looks like a boat with wake to me. The white spot could be waves breaking against something floating.

I know. Another boring possible explanation. But if you really want it to be a monster, it can be in your universe. We are only limited by our imaginations.
