I have two pet taxi's that I have taken apart and made four nesting boxes with. Should I put them back together so that when my girls start laying and I let them keep the eggs (IF I let them) they will feel more secure?

Right now I have all of them side by side, no privacy whatsoever. Lately I have been reading on here how they like to have a bit of privacy when they are laying and that when they have eggs they will feel more secure.

Am I going about this wrong?

I think you are okay. My runners would lay eggs everywhere even sometimes in the nest

The only problem I ran into was when 1 went broody and the others were still laying in that nest. I ended up putting up a large crate around her and the nest. I think in the long run it may be easier for you if you seperate the nests now that way if one goes broody and is allowed to keep te eggs it would be easier to seperate if needed.
