Nesting box attachment for Little Tikes Playhouse?

For those of you who already have a playhouse coop, how are you able to keep it dry? I elevated my roof a bit to allow a little more ventilation, I have 2 windows open, and the door (during the day).
I also added an overhang over the windows and door, but if it rains just right it is soaked (not a problem for ducks persay), but I have not figured out how to have the appropriate ventilation and to keep it dry.

It is slightly hard to see,,, but coop is in run area that is light duty tarp covered with 3 separate large tarps. Keeps rain,sun and flying raptors out.
