Still under construction, but the idea is there.

We made ours out of a recycled cabinet - one side is for storage and holds 50 lbs of feed. We also use litterboxes - you can see one in the corner.

The very bottom I'm going to leave open for them to hide under if they wish.

The middle "shelf" is going to get a front with entrances on each end and be more of a communal nest box. It is open to the back and I'll be adding doors and cutting out the chicken wire so I will be able to get eggs without going in the coop.
