They aren't due to lay for a while. I also double-checked for a stuck egg and there wasn't one just now. She isn't laying yet though so I didn't really expect there to be one. But why would she all of a sudden pretend like nothing was wrong and start eating the old food after not eating for a few days? She pointedly walked around the new food to get to her private cup. I know that some of my birds prefer certain treats over others, so that's why I think being picky could be possible.

Chickens are survivors, they aren't gonna die because they don't like the food. They will eat almost any thing and they would only not eat if they couldn't eat what was available. There could be a crushed egg, what is her poop like? White and liquid like? Feel her abdomen between her legs, What does it feel like? Large, squishy?

I checked for an egg, I'm 100% positive she isn't egg-bound. It could be something else like you said, but I know it isn't that at least.

There could be a crushed egg, what is her poop like? White and liquid like? Feel her abdomen between her legs, What does it feel like? Large, squishy?

Feel her crop and abdomen between her legs. Is it hard, squishy, doughy, full, empty?

What does her abdomen feel like? Can you check that if possible? It will help us rule out a crushed egg inside her.

It takes a lot of will power for a chicken to just not eat. Chickens will be in serious pain and still eat, it takes a lot of pain and damage for a chicken not to eat. Is there somethgin wrong with the new food? Mold, or something toxic? That would make sense to me, they won't eat most everything that is toxic to them. The others could have died because of mold toxicity. Check your new food, chickens will die not long after eating mold.

Did you check your old feed for mold? They would be a reason why they aren't eating it. If the feed is moldy, you could starve out, or kill you whole flock because of mold toxicity. Hope we find the cause! I highly doubt she's a picky eater though, they aren't just gonna kill themselves because they don't like something.
