Net time????.

I was out feeding my birds that get out to my biggest run but I heard a pile of crows flying after a hawk I'm worried that if the hawk gets past them it will attack my chickens and I'd much prefer to cut a bucket of brass every couple days and put it into the small area and they will all be safe then let them out I will have to build my own polls to keep the net ul as it wasnt designed for someone of my height and I dont want to walk throw it some day when it's raining and and get drenched
Thoughts on is this an ok thing to do or will the crows keep the hawk away?

I would not count on the crows keeping the hawks from eating your birds.
