Just saw that the PO said my babies where in SF yesterday afternoon, maybe they are at the Reno Vassar PO. Tried calling but no one is answering the 4 phone numbers they gave me Friday... We are so excited.

Cant wait to hear how it turns out!!

We picked up 8 chicks that are all crosses/mutts. Two barred buff, three RIR, one NHR, one white orpXleghorn, one buff orpXleghorn (I think). We hope to end up with 4 gals.

We put them out in their coop and run yesterday to play and they loved it. I think it's still a little cold for the smallest ones (they're just under 4 weeks). Our buff was pecking everyone, it made four others bleed so it had to be segregated for two days. We put it back with the others yesterday afternoon after two nights and days alone, and it's being much better behaved.

Oh, and Sunny, I really do love lizards! I study chuckwallas in the Mojave.

They're wonderful fat lizards. This is a very staged pic of a male and female we caught.


This one is a fat little sub-adult. They get pretty big (like a foot or more in total length).

Hey everybody. I'm new to BYC buy I've been doing this a while. My name is Nicole and my husband and I are PCSing to Germany on the 15th of March. We have a beautiful rooster named Gooster who is in need of a loving home.
He's an excellent watch rooster and guards his hens dutifully, however he wasn't welcome at their new home.
If you can offer him a loving home, a nice yard, and maybe even some ladies to love and protect, we'd be one extremely grateful family.

They are here! Went and got them, they are in their brooders eating, drinking, and sleeping! PO called and we were able to pick up on a Sunday, these little ones came from McMurray. Will post pictures in a bit.

so cute! the lizards too. My nickname is Lizard so I collect lizard stuff. I don't really want to have real ones but I do enjoy finding them when they appear in our yard.

Welcome! He looks like a great rooster but I can't help you out. Don't want to annoy the neighbors. Hopefully you'll find a good home for him.
