Nevadans?

Aubrey, I totally forgot about you dropping it off until I was totally stressed a few minutes ago and stomped outside while taking out the garbage, and almost stepped on a bag of squishy brown stuff!

I've been turning the beds today, so it's just in time. Thanks! I'm in the market for more, if you don't mind saving again.

Seth, I just bought a huge bale of pine shavings, a lot more than I need. And it was less than $6. If you want to do pine, you can have a bunch when you pick up your babies.

We've had enough excitement for tonight. Last night, Sahara fed Mao Tse Tung for Russ because I'm just not into snakes. Basically, you put him in a separate bin with his mouse, put the top on, and wait until he's done. Today, she looked in the feeding bin and said, "Mom, where's Mao?" She had to call up Russ and tell him that she had lost his snake... which is a baby snake, about half the width of a pinky finger, so he could be anywhere. We found him, though. So lucky we did! He didn't go more than 5 feet from where he had crawled out, but we were looking under furniture, between books on the shelf... so she got to call him again and tell him that we found Mao. Next time we feed him, the feeding bin is getting duct taped!

Taters sound good too. I'm coming into town in a couple of days anyway. I have 3 more chicks (culls) coming from chickee if you wouldn't mind picking them up when you go down? If you don't mind then I need to drop off some money to you anyway.

Sheryl I wouldn't mind a few pole bean seeds. Steve likes those too. And maybe a few pumpkin seeds too. Oh I almost forgot, you said something about duck eggs for me. I have a ton of eggs here right now so I don't know what I would do with more eggs (of any kind) but I appreciate you thinking of me. Also I need to bring the bread machine back to you. It doesn't mix the dough nearly as well as my kitchen aid already does so I can't really use it. What seeds do you want from my list in return for the beans and pumpkins?

Santa is leaving packages in March now? I thought he'd still be on vacation in the Caribbean this time of year. heehee

watch i'd be the onr to show up with walmart seeds to a seed exchange

Lol! Seth, have you tried gardening? You could always do a flower pot with some lettuce or kale for the rabbits and chickens. Something that grows back when you cut it.

Yes, Santa brings bags full of squishy brown stuff and drops them on people's doorsteps. For the REALLY bad kids. (Then he lights them on fire and rings the doorbell.) Good thing the bag was full of coffee grounds for my garden.

Sunny, that sounds great. Just PM me with when you plan to be in town. Except for Friday, my client list is light this week. I'll be very happy to bring back your chicks.

I'm glad I found him, too! A few minutes ago, I opened the bin to see if he had eaten the mouse, and that dang snake was waiting for me!! He was sitting on the lip of the bin, staring at me!!

BTW, there's a reason those snakes are shared by Russ and Sahara. I want nothing to do with them.

So thankful you found the snake Missy.

No problem Sunny, sorry you didn't like it. I much prefer my Kitchen Aid too, it makes the best breads.

Did your teacher ever find her snake Seth?

That's really neat Aubrey, I spoke to a friend who works at our Peet's coffee and he said he will save me the grounds if I want them. I told him I will let him know when I'm ready for them. I'm going to clean out the coop in 2 weeks and I'll add the coffee grounds to the garden then, along with the coop stuff.
