Nevadans?

so, my husband dropped his phone in the toilet the other day. I put it in rice for several days but no luck on reviving it. we have t-mobile prepaid which saves us a lot of money but my phone does not get service in my new basement office at work. So I was trying to see what other prepaid services were out there. not really sure what i'll end up doing. I really am a cheapskate on the cell phone service. I hate paying so much for those monthly plans.

It's a Brinsea Ova-Easy 190 Advance. They say it can hold 192 eggs but I don't really see how. To me it looks like it will hold 108 comfortably without stacking but they do sell the stacking trays separate and maybe that's what they mean. Of course I am usually setting large to extra large eggs. If someone set serama eggs only I'm sure they could get twice that many in. Oh they may be including the hatching tray. That can hold another 36 comfortably for a total of 144. It monitors everything for me electronically and even has alarms that go off if the temps climb too high or too low!!!

I love this bator! It was totally worth doing without birthday and christmas gifts to get this!!!

It has 4 fans! The turning trays turn the whole tray so yes you can stack eggs (with the proper trays). I especially love the electronic controls that remember what I had everything set to... even if the power goes out! Ahhhhh I am so tickled I don't know how I will sleep tonight! And the whole front door is double paned glass so I can see the eggs quite well!!!

Sorry about your hubby's phone. Let us know what you decide. I need to look at other plans too. Verizon is outrageous and now we can't even do a lot of the stuff we used to be able to do for free. They charge for every little thing ON TOP of the sky high rates they charge for basic services now.

Congrats on the first duck pipping Sheryl! So exciting!!!

Oh! I need to get those seeds to you! The leeks take 140 days to mature so they must be started now inside or you'll never get them to mature before winter comes again! If we get them started now they will mature in August which should be just fine. I will be setting them for five weeks hoping to be able to harvest through September.

Absolutely Sunny and I have my seeds to0 for you when ever you are ready. My vacation starts Saturday, I'm taking 9 days off, for the ducklings and my son is flying in from Florida with my DIL and both grand children. John gets to meet his first grand daughter finally.

Oh how exciting!!! Grand babies!!! I'll call before I come by then so I don't interrupt anything. The pumpkins and the egg plant take a while too so we shouldn't wait much longer on those either.
Anyway, see you soon! Enjoy all the babies and we'll need pics!!! lol

Sorry I havent been on for a bit. Life got hectic. I had just given up on getting birds this year as it seems we have been hit with one money problem after another...such is life I guess. When I was given a chance on some almost free birds. I have a pair of royal palm turkeys now, three more ducks and three chickens. Im picking up about 15-20 more chickens this weekend that are part of the deal. And even though I have no room for them I have,a few friends who are more then willing to take a few, especially hens lol. Not a bad deal for $20. And one of the ducks and the turkey already laid a egg. :)

Really? Our son and his wife live in Orlando, Florida! What part does your son live in? We are taking our two granddaughters (our daughter's two girls) to visit them for Easter

Can't wait to see cute duckling pictures!

My brother wanted me to hatch some eggs from his Peking ducks for Easter, but I don't have time before we leave for Florida! Anyone who wants Peking duck eggs I can get some for you. They are great layers, are fed an organic diet and free range. He sells their eggs to a local Organic market, Briar Patch.

Welcome back Katzz, it's nice to see you again.

My son and his family along with my 2 sisters and dad all live in Jacksonville. I go there at least once a year. Dad comes this way about twice a year. My son is in the Navy there. They will be moving to Virginia in a few months though.

The egg shell has zipped all the way around but the membrane is still holding on, there isn't a whole in it, is the little duckling still okay? Oh and I couldn't sleep much last night. I kept getting up to watch the duckling. I got a video of it rocking and rolling last night. It's going to be a lot of coffee for me today.

From what you've said he pipped too early and probably needs to absorb his yolk sac. Hopefully he does this, even though he's already zipped, before he hatches! Opening the bator won't help though. You will dry out the membrane of the zipped chick for sure then. Hope he makes it!!!
