Yikes, the news warned that we could have tornado again and after the one that went right by us last year, I know I don't want to go through that again! I had just bought baby chicks at the feed store and ran out to the barn to put them in the brooder that my husband had set up for me and got stuck in there. The wind, thunder, lightening, rail and hail were so strong I couldn't leave the barn to get back to the house for about 45 minutes! When I came back in the house I asked my husband if he had thought to come help me! He was too busy videoing the tornado and the phone was ringing like crazy with people calling to see if we were OK....I asked him if he bothered to tell them his wife was missing!!!! The video did make the bay area news (Channel 2's weatherman is our friend).I like everything. I must be in a good mood. No kids, attempting to reclaim my house (cleaning) and eggs hatching. I'm making some microwave bread pudding in a few minutes and ride out this storm. We have a tornado watch! One of the things that has terrified me since I was a little girl in Oklahoma.
Hope things don't get too crazy for you Kim. Enjoy the bread pudding and let the kids clean the house for pete sake!
