I have to hold the receiver up high and twist it just so but hopefully it stays on long enough to say "HI!". hahaha

Wow! That is amazing that she started laying so young! Pretty color!! Congratulations!!

Another plus: she was completely silent as she did it. A good trait here in the city.

I've also seen my BLRW and my brabanter checking out the nesting boxes, but I don't know if it's just curiosity or a sign of anything.

Quote: Gorgeous color! I think 1 of my ams started laying a green egg the other day then I got 2 in one day so now I have 2 laying. They are quite green though, not blue. But I like the green eggs. It's possible that these new layers are from Pams birds even though they are younger than the ameraucanas. Most EEs do mature faster than ameraucanas do.

I'll have to get pics when I find my camera. :)

We had a good time camping, despite a very rainy Monday. There was a big thunderstorm during the night and then all day Monday it rained off and on. But there were brief sunny times in between and we still had a good time.
congrats on your new job! glad it's something you enjoy and day shift will be better for your health.
thanks, sheryl. turns out he has Saturday through Monday shift. 4 a.m. to 3:30 pm It will actually work out pretty good for us. He can be home for the kids when they get out 4 days of the week. I can come home early on Mondays. Also when they are off track, he can be home with them 4 days a week. That will save us a lot since we won't need before/after school care or care during the off track times. He starts on Saturday. for 4 weeks, he'll work 8-5 on those saturdays for training. he'll work his regular schedule on Sundays and Mondays. the only bummer is he will have to miss the kids' saturday soccer games. he's the coach. he'll be able to go to practice during the week but the other parents will have to take turns during the games.

I hope the treatments will work. Sorry you have 2 diseases. that's some bad luck. sounds like you have a good doctor, though.
thanks, Ron. should be a good job for him.
