Hey nevadaron, thats really awesome!! Still waiting for mine though...lol im getting egg envy from everyone.

Jason, I have some white hens, but theyre a laying variety, i think Cali white. theyre about a year old, and they have really neat personalities, and come when called. I'd offer my delware, but I love her.

I can also give you a cantacler or somthing like that, shes really pretty with double lacing, but she's very skittish too, being at the bottom of the pecking order. I need to find a home for her anyway, its not fair for her. If you're interested tell me.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it sounds like you all have great kids!! My mom has been really stressed and upset, and i was looking for a way to make her happy. She is much better now, because she had a temporary (abd possibly pernament!! ) job today, so that one issue thats put to ground. But she was also worried about the house being messy, so when i got home tody i cleaned the place. It took two hours!! but she was really happy. I also wrote her a message on facebook last night, it was pretty sappy but its how i feel about her and everything, and that made her happy too. I need to be careful with that though, because somtimes shell start crying and that is scary. Im not good with telling her outright, but if i think about it and put words to it, i can make it meaningful. So thats why im better at notes. I just hope she relaxes some. I really feel like , yeah things are hard right now, but if we stick together we'll do fine. It will be difficult. It will take work. But everything will be fine. Of course, when i was telling this to her i was more elloquent. Ug, i tried to do a good job.

Hey, if you dont all hear from me, im not dead or anything. Well, maybe but i doubt it. Not phisically. But senior year started, and instead of senioritis, all the ap kids have gone into this frightening frenzy. We're the wierd group obsessing over GPA, so im going to busy, not sure to what extent yet.

Even if i get accepted into a good college, i think ill stay at UNR. My dog is too old for me to move outta state, im not sure i'd see her agian if i left for four or six years. Shh, ivy league is so overrated anyway, lol.

Lacy. Good luck in school. Hope to see you next year at UNR. I work their. You don't really need good words to let you mom know you are worried about her. You done good with the house cleaning thing. It would mean more to me that my kids even knew what bothered me than anything else.

LaceyNoelle: Try not to let your mom's tears scare you. My oldest daughter, for mother's day, put together a montage of photos set to "Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffett. I have watched it once & not sure if I can watch it again without crying! My kids know this and now look for it "Is Mom crying again?!" I try to laugh and explain to them that it is just that I get so overwhelmed by my love for them and that these amazing children are my children and love me! I am humbled by this.

Anywho - I am getting teary-eyed just writing this! LOL! Lacey it sounds like you are really putting forth an effort to reduce your mom's stress & show her you love her. Good luck with your senior year! What would you like to go to college for?

I keep telling my gals how wonderful they are and what beautiful eggs they will treat me with but somehow they are not getting the message...eggs soon I hope.

I dont mind the posting, im just happy we're on the 200th page. ^^ thanks everyone for everything.

I want to be an author. i dont really think i need a college education to do this, but at least ill get a better vocabulary. But even when i was a little kid i wrote books about random things. i finished my first 'real' book my sophmor year, and im happy with it, but it needs a lot of work if i ever intend to publish it.

it sucks right now, but the idea is there. I also want to have a ranch though, fully working and everything. So there's my dream life laid out: Author/rancher. I think i can do it. Most kids my age have grand plans, but i think mine will actually work, mainly because it isnt that far fetched. Im not telling people i want to be the next top model or anything, i just want to be happy with my life.

My chickens were hatched on march 17, but my dad made them free range for bugs and weeds for a while, which wasnt really good for them. Im hoping they get mature soon, because now they have their own pen and are eating grain and stuff. geez.
