LOL I thought I heard something!
What were you all doing out this way? I'm way out east on Hwy 50, just before you go up the hill to Stagecoach. Did you make it that far?
No. We went to Virginia City and then went down to 50 and our friends wanted to see where 50 went the other direction but by the time we got to Dayton they decided to turn around and head over to Carson instead. I've been to Stagecoach before though. To pick up baby chicks. Been to Dayton a few times for work.

I'm feeling a lot better already! Went to Virginia City yesterday and I walked almost the whole time (without hunching over).
Feels good to be getting around so well these days.
Are you going to Cheryl's house for the swap? Just don't bring any of your birds, she had a Mareks breakout on her property before (that was why we didn't have the summer one at her house). Also you'll need to wash your shoes off before you head out to your coop, when you return from the party, so you don't infect your flock. Unless they've all been immunized for mareks (Clyde has been immunized for mareks and most hatchery/feed store birds are automatically immunized). Not all of my birds have been immunized so I am not going, though I feel fine to travel now (maybe I'm just being paranoid) but I hope you have a good time! Tell everyone I said "Hi" and I'll come to the next one. Well, unless the same issue comes up at the next meetup.
I've been very lucky and have a very healthy flock but I am kinda obsessive about the exposure thing. It's the same reason I won't ever show my birds!
I have enough problems with dogs and racoons. OK, I'll shutup now before I ruin your good time. Seriously, just washing your shoes off when you get back should take care of any problems.
Congrats on your new chicks
Eglyntine!!! They are adorable! Thank you for the pics!
Aubrey, finally!
Judging by the pics, neither one is from the Del (Del eggs are light brown). They look almost white or is that the flash? Anyway, congrats!!! That is sooo exciting!
