My aunt lives about 1/4 mile from Disneyland and we used to go there frequently when I was a kid. My cousin still works for Disneyland, though in the corporate office these days. Anyway, I wasn't referring to the Monsanto House of the Future, it was an older ride called Adventure Thru Inner Space. The idea was that you were being shrunk down in size and then injected into a microscope. You could see what appeared to be the scientist's eye looking down on you through the microscope. Good stuff for kids!

I found a picture of it here! (Not very good

It's from this blog about the ride, which is pretty good.

I remember that ride, it was space mountain and you ended up riding a roller coaster in the dark. It was located in Tomorrow Land! It was my most favorite ride there.

I know I'm not Sunny but I say he would love him as a partner to attack those coons at night! Just have enough hens for them both and if it's wasn't one of Monique's egg then perhaps we can have them meet too and get some more babies?

Nope, we have a month and a half to find a place but that reminds me of what I should be doing right now, thanks!

I'll call you when we land in a chicken friendly place.

Sunny,

If you guys can afford to buy a house I know there's one across the street from me that just went up and now is the buyer's market you know. I do have friends who are now renting their homes out too, so perhaps we can find something for you?

Thanks Sheryl! We don't have the money to purchase another home at this stage so we are looking to rent a place for about 3 years. We'd love a rental out in the Red Rock area, do you have friends renting out there? It would be much closer to Steve's job so we are pretty set on the North Valleys area for sure and the further North the better (well, not Doyle).

Kim that free rent deal fell through!

Oh well, hopefully we can find a place that allows chickens and then we can rebuild our flock.

Aubrey add the new roo to the flock while he is still young (smaller than Petey). Petey will accept him but it may take a few days. If they are added young Petey will have no problems keeping his place as dominant roo. This doesn't mean that he won't give the younger roo a peck now and then to make sure he stays in his place but that's normal.

Ron, ok that makes much more sense now. I do remember that ride and the eye. I guess I was looking for a women's eye like my avatar pic.

Sheryl, I loved Space Mountain! That was my favorite ride at Disneyland. Although I don't remember an eye on that ride but that doesn't mean much. I like to close my eyes on Space Mountain. I love the rush of dead air at the end of the ride. It's like they suck all the sound out all at once! It's a little creepy but also cool!

'OMG Sunny. I'm so sorry. I was so happy for you with that.

Does that mean you have to move now or are you staying put? I've been out of it lately. This month is a one year mark for a lot of things and just had a lot on my mind.

I look at properties a lot. Keep hoping the VA is going to come through. Let me know what you're looking for and if I run across something, I'll let you know. Will you be staying in Nevada or are you thinking of moving back this way>

Really am sorry about that deal falling through. OMG! And your birds???? Maybe when you get settled we should get another order of blues.

Thanks for the sympathy Kim! We do need to move. We are looking for a rental in the Red Rock (N Reno) area because it's close to Steve's job. I don't know yet what I'm doing about chickens at this stage of the game.
