Hopefully your pulse will settle down once you are done growing. Your bones are still forming til you are in your 20s but I kept my super high metabolism til my 40s. Never had a high pulse rate though except when I'm really nervous. Can't be good for your heart having to work that hard but it could just be what they call "White Coat Syndrome". I used to have this problem. I was very nervous around doctors etc, so when they would take my blood pressure it would be very high (especially when they had me change into those horrible paper gowns first
). Now the nurse takes it again at the end of my appt. and viola! No problems!
Have a family member take your pulse when you are resting at home and see if it is still a problem then.
