Hopefully your pulse will settle down once you are done growing. Your bones are still forming til you are in your 20s but I kept my super high metabolism til my 40s. Never had a high pulse rate though except when I'm really nervous. Can't be good for your heart having to work that hard but it could just be what they call "White Coat Syndrome". I used to have this problem. I was very nervous around doctors etc, so when they would take my blood pressure it would be very high (especially when they had me change into those horrible paper gowns first

). Now the nurse takes it again at the end of my appt. and viola! No problems!

Have a family member take your pulse when you are resting at home and see if it is still a problem then.

I'm weird I've never minded going to the doctor other then for scout physicals.

OK, I'm letting my true colors show and I'll probably rethink this little rant and edit later but until then...

NO, no Sunny! Don't edit nothin.

We all still have a right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH, don't we? And maybe more of us should be displaying our colors more often. The corporate news companies can sure step out there and say what they want us to think is true after all. So, from time to time, I think we should each report individually what is like to be a member of the United Brotherhood of Minions in this glorious Land of the Free. But do remember to take a bow at the end.

Sunny, My wife was born here in 1965 and never lived anywhere else. I moved here from Kansas when I was 10 making me a resident for 40 years. So nit picking aside yeah I am a native.

Morning everyone and
welcome-byc.gif
and to the Nevada thread too! My husband's grandmother, who lives with us but does not use the computer, was born and raised here. She hasn't lived any where else and she was born in 1914 so does this count? She's 97 and will be 98 in December.

Oh yeah, I'd say that definitely makes you a native! So far that makes you and Kim the longest here, from the NV thread anyway.

Sheryl that is so cool to hear about your GMIL! I know very few Reno natives and she must have some amazing stories to tell about the history of Reno. She's lived through a lot of historic changes to the area. I bet the RGJ would love to interview her. Heck I'd love to interview her!
