Well, it is good news, bad news then. You know how women are with their measurements?

No I have no idea. My DH can't seem to gauge measurements within a foot! He's seriously horrible at guessing measurements! I used to be a precision machinist and I worked with 10,000ths of an inch tolerance on a regular basis and, while I can't read those kind of measurements by sight, an inch is an enormous distance to someone like me.

Besides Dottie said (shoot I can't remember his name) her husband(?) said it was a 10 x 10 shed so she is off the hook for this error. This really works better for us, especially with the permit requirements. We are gonna go see it tomorrow.

My husband is horrible with measurements! I guess he sort of has an excuse since he grew up with the metric system in Mexico and here we're measuring with inches. I could not depend on him to read the measuring tape during the coop build. Not that I'm perfect but I'm a little more precise than him.

Sunny, glad you'll be able to move the coop without the permit!

i got a little more painting done on the coop today. hopefully this weekend I can get tons done. i want to move the chicks in next week. Our office move at work today was a disaster. they didn't approve outside movers so the university movers had to do it on overtime even though they are slammed. (i.e., grumpy and tired). i left at 4 to go to crossfit and all my office had in it was one filing cabinet.

my admin assistant stayed until 6 and they still had some more stuff to move and my office was all messed up. they had to take the door off the hinges and now it doesn't lock right. so I'm going to head in really early tomorrow to try to get things sorted out. In the meantime, I have a report due next week and I want to get the coop done!!!! Ok, done venting. have a good night all.

Oh Boy do I feel for you! You are gonna have quite a mess to deal with and with that report due at the same time? Wow! That sounds like a disaster in the making. I hope it works out better than I think. Good luck!

I was busy last night. The French is alright. MAYBE at APA I'll be able to speak some of it.
how have you been?
How is bringing the table to APA btw?

I just want you all to know that i am writing to you on my new macbook! hooray! no more iphone posts! no more gross spelling errors! (or at least as consistent!).
that is...while i am home talking to you guys...

anywho. the story goes like this...
last month i was moving around our bedroom furniture. i swear i moved the stupid gigantic computer desk a half an inch and right when i did that every piece of anything that was holding that desk together completely collapsed ON TOP of our computer. well the PC never worked again. so we upgraded, yay yay yay!!! now i can watch movies and talk to chicken folk ANYWHERE I WANT!
