Pam I love that story about your teacher and the haughty look! I wish I'd mastered that at a young age when it came to singing. I mastered that look very early when it came to idiotic men (no offense guys but you know there are some of them out there) but never thought to use it when it came to music.

Sounds like you know a lot more about music than I do. I don't even read music. Just feel a song and sing. Had to learn a lot of choreography as well, when performing in clubs. Not my favorite. I mean I love to dance but it got tedious squishing so many practices into a week for not a lot of pay. The audience appreciates the performer but a boss is a boss anywhere and what they care about is their bottom line. Music isn't quite as romantic a living as some folks think.

I was a single Mom at the time though and what I really wanted was to be able to spend more time with the kids but, alas the rent had to be paid. My dream is to win the lotto, build an Inn, on gorgeous grounds, with a focus on events, then use my talents in an enjoyable (but still profitable way). Hey as Judy Tenuda(sp?) used to say... "It could happen!". *sigh*

Wish I could help you with your poor roo. You will have to rely on the more well informed folks here. I am no help at all on this subject.

I hope he feels better soon. Your EE may have taught him a lesson about stealing his harem.

Sheryl I will try to get over there this week. I'll put a reminder in my phone. My house is also a disaster so no house warming yet. I hope to get it put together soon but with family coming for the holidays it will probably be after the New Year. The new house is tiny though so a get together in winter would be a very small get together.

Hi everyone! Hope we are all having a nice day and are ready for the wicked weather we are due to have. All of my tomatoes have been picked and I placed all the green ones in cardboard boxes for them to ripen up the rest of the way. Anyone can do this too. If you don't have boxes you also can use paper bags. Keep them out of the sun though.

Also, I heard on BYC the USDA is giving away calendars for 2012 now. Here's the link if anyone want any:

Tyler about the calendar, I was thinking I can keep my notes on it when dealing with the flock. This way I can keep track on when things changed or anything. Time to worm them or whatever is needed.

Hi Sunny, I had an okay day, work is getting really slow atm. I'm getting excited going to Florida next week. I can't wait to see my new granddaughter she's just 4 months old right now. Oh and they are already going to have another one next year, my daughter in-law just got pregnant. They are on the fast track getting their family together before they can't have anymore kids, she's almost forty and her clock is a ticken. I know she's slightly younger than me but what can I say, my son likes older women. He's very mature for his age and the ones who are his age he wouldn't date. Anyways, he found himself a great wife and mother so what more can anyone ask for? I like her and they are happy so I'm happy too.

Anyways, I must get to bed too - it's the dreaded 5:30am that's kicking me in the rear right now.
