Looks like I need to get me some, then! I'm already attached to the little guy. Is it at feed stores?

Walmart usually has it but mine only has the one with iron. I had to go to Babys r Us to get it. It's baby vitamins

Hey does anyone have some extra eating eggs for me? Genny has been keeping me going the last couple months but her hens aren't laying many and I feel like I'm draining her supply (she has other customers too). I'm heading into town tomorrow I think. Let me know if you have any. Thanks!

I still owe you a dozen eggs Sunny. I'll be home around 5pm tomorrow, if you and Steve would like to stay for some dinner then we can make it a date?

Let me check with him first. Our appts were in the morning.

Has anyone tried colloidal silver? I have a chicken that couldn't walk and I gave her some vitamins with electrolytes and brought her in the house and to my store last week because my husband was supposed to go get me some Polyvisol and bring it to me because I wanted to start treatment asap...some lack of communication but he never picked it up. On some research I saw the colloidal silver is good and I happened to have a customer who's mom makes it so she made me some. Haven't given any because she's doing better after another customer who does Rakie (sp) did a session on her and she stood up for the first time in two days. She said she'd send her another session that evening and the darn chicken stood up again. Was walking by the next morning and has returned to the coop. As of yesterday she has returned to the roost after working her way up.

But I'm still curious about the colloidal silver and wondered if anyone had dosage info on it.

I think if using it on a chick you would only want to do a drop, maybe 2.

I'm leary of it, mostly because of the side effects I've seen in people. It builds up in your body and doesn't leave, even with chelation therapy. For some interesting pictures, look up "argyria" on Google images. (It's safe for work.) I don't know of any poisoning side effects other than the color, and maybe if you're using a few micro-doses it won't be a problem.

Working with the natural health industry, I've seen it come into trend as the next miracle supplement. But I also haven't seen any major benefits in people I know who have taken it.
