Here is 6 month old daddy so he will get bigger!

So who does one contact for space reservations. I have several olandsk dwarf hens I may split up in my breeding program and I loath shipping birds. And Cochins! They're sweet right! I need sweet for my serama coop to keep them warm over winter...
HI Seth is right, you can just come down around 9:30 am the morning of the swap and either bring your own cages or you can use the cages we set up and give a donation to the club for our fundraising efforts. We use the proceeds from our swaps for purchasing the youth awards at our annual Open and Youth poultry show in October. 1 Stop Ranch and Feed 760 Glendale Ave Sparks NV.

Also active members of the NNPFA club will receive 10% off of poultry feed purchases at 1 Stop Ranch and Feed. This Saturday is Chick Days at 1 Stop, I will be there at the 4-H and NNPFA table hope to see you stop by, purchase chick starter receive free chicks!! They will have EE, Production Reds and Leghorns I believe from Privett Hatchery.

We accept healthy roosters with a $5 donation per bird, we also take donations of healthy pullets and hens that we will resale to help fund the show.

I will be hatching from exhibition lines the following breeds for sale:
Large Fowl
Buckeyes
Sussex(Coronation and Columbian)

Bantam
Dutch(Cream/Blue Light Brown)
Plymouth Rocks(Columbian)

and Non exhibition EEs

I can make space in my Sportsman incubator for your fertile eggs and will hatch them for $1 per egg, I add eggs on Thursdays so would need eggs before that. Once hatched you will need to pick up Sundays.

Hello everybody, it's been awhile since I've been on here. We are in the process of purchasing a home in the Minden area and will begin building our flock again when we are settled. So, I'll be checking in a little more frequently and am looking forward to listening to, and learning from, everybody.
Incidentally, does anybody have any experience with llamas? I'd like to find a resource that is more specific to Nevada. Thanks and good to see you all again!

There is a farm here in Fallon that has Llamas.  I don't know if you're looking for a specific kind or if they even have a specific kind.  They're llamas.  Let me know once you think you might be ready and I can stop and knock on their door for you.  I have  no idea who they are.  But I'll stop and ask if you want.

I have friends her in south lake who hav lama. They are used as pack animals on their hiking trips .

Hi peeps, I'm new to this site. So far so good, just a little lost trying to find things on here lol. So my question is, does anyone sell Marans, EE, chocolate layers in reno area or susanville area? Thanks for any info.

Welcome woode45!

I know Sunny on here raises Marans, and I am sure others on here do too. I have EE's in the incubator now and 1 Stop Ranch and Feed has EE chicks already for their Chick Days on Saturday(760 Glendale Ave Sparks) Buy a bag of Chick Starter get some chicks free or really cheap(.50 each)! If you are not wanting to start out with chicks, my poultry club, Northern Nevada Poultry Fanciers hosts a chicken swap/sale every month at 1 Stop and people do bring older pullets hens and roosters to sell.

Our first swap of the year will be March 23rd at 9:30am.

Pigtail21 is right. SunnyDawn has great dark Black Copper Marans eggs. I hatched eggs from her girls twice and they are amazing fat chicks, plus she's a super sweet lady. ;) I don't know if she sells chicks or not. And Chickee from Sun Valley has Golden Cuckoo Marans that are also gorgeous. I hatched eggs from her girls a couple weeks ago and the chicks are huge already. Highly recommend both! And Chickee also breeds Wheaten Ameraucanas (not EE!), that are awesome. If you just want EE check your local feed store. :) Good luck!

Thank you both so much for all the help! I will try to contact the people you recommended. I don't have a incubator, that's what I'm looking for chicks. I bought some bantams and ee online but out of 20 only 4 made it here. I new to this but I want all my chicks raised together. That way they are friends, I realize that might sound silly, but I'm sticking to it ;). Well please keep me up to date. Again thank you both so much! I think the swap meet sounds fun too
