This isn't related to 'bater construction but my DIY mantra has always been "you can never have enough duct tape, gorilla glue, extension cords, and bungies!"
Peepshow: We chose to live in Boulder City to avoid the HOA debacle. We have nice neighborhoods, nice neighbors, and a nice town...all without the "leadership" of the beloved HOA's.
Our girls put themselves to sleep in their coop for the first time tonight after a day of free ranging. The dogs didn't get eaten by one of them, so they must have come to some mutual agreement. Now that they can tuck themselves in (and even get on their roost without help) I guess they don't need me anymore.
They do greet me when I come home from work, though.
This chicken thing was my wife's idea, yet I am the one who did the research, built the coop, raised the girls, woke them up, put them to bed, and got on this site each night! ...funny how life works out, eh?
