Cool coop. For a waterer heater you can use a metal cookie tin with a light bulb installed in it and put your regular waterer on it.

I can totally do that, I know we got a little OT with the football and cooking convo but some forums are pretty strict on keeping on topic so I did not know if it was appropriate. If it's ok I will definitely post it. I love trading recipes with ppl, it is a really great way to get to know someone.

I'd like to appologize about getting people OT

- I tend to be rather chatty. In my job, I have to connect with people I don't know in about 2 minutes and I really enjoy finding out about people. I always, always learn something from people I meet and everyone has something to teach. I guess I thought that because this was a forum for local folks that it could be more social about a variety of subjects. However, this is a forum about chickens. I will try to stay on topic in the future.

I do not have any problems going OT - I don't think (could be wrong) but honestly don't think BYC has a problem with it in area threads unless the topic is a no-no or discord is starting.

Besides it is how we get to know each other.

I agree! I really enjoy the conversations we get into - it's great to be able to learn about one another. Makes us feel more like a community.
