oh Ron, theye so cute!!! I sincerely wanted to grab some chicks to put in the brooder so it wont be so empty, but markie and i didnt really feel like braving washoe valley

have fun with them! what breeds did you end up with?

I was wondering if I would run into you guys there - kept my eyes peeled for pink hair!

10 are Ameracaunas and the 5 free ones (with purchase of a 25lb. bag of feed) are RSLs. It's not too late - they're open 'til 6!

SparksNV - if you're willing to take a little drive - they have half a dozen or so different breeds (more like 9 or 10 now that I think about it).

OK Sunny - how about this? I used to work at a company called OAZ Communications. OAZ stood for "Ones And Zeroes"! Anyway, one day a customer called and said they wanted to speak to the Wizard of OAZ. Without hesitating, the receptionist put him through to me. After that all of the customers started calling me that, then so did my friends. My friend Sunny also calls me Mr. Wizard. So I'm good with that!

Aubrey, you are sooo adventurous with your hair - It looks very cute!! I had quite a bit of snow this morning but it is melting fast. I think it has melted enough to go for a run - Yay!

I have to brag a bit on my 8th grade daughter, Taylor. We went to a ceremony at UNR today for the top 15% 8th grades students in all of Nevada. She received a very nice certificate, gear bag, and they gave a nice presentation promoting UNR. Go Tay!!! Taylor is also trying out for the 8th grade volleyball team - wish her luck!

Your friend's chickies should be all dried out and ready by Sunday or Monday!

I'm getting about 14-16 eggs a day right now and using about 8 a week.

I've loaded up everyone I know with enough eggs to last them weeks! Right now I have about 6 dozen in the fridge from the last 4 & 1/2 days. I can bring them all to you tomorrow.

I also sell for $3 a dozen when they bring egg cartons to trade. Otherwise I charge them .25 more (that's what I pay for misprinted cartons).
