How does August 13th sound to everyone? We can still meet at the Poultry show in November. I like chicken folks for socializing. I've not met hardly any chicken folks that I haven't liked, so I've had to conclude that there is just something about folks that love chickens. I'd like to open it up to others as well so a park might be easier and safer. Steve and I met a few more area folks this last couple of weeks while we were selling our babies and I'd love to invite one of those couples too.

Now I'm all excited about this get-together! I wish Nevada weren't so spread out! I'd love to meet everyone!

Okay - Let's do it at my house, I can fit quite a bit here and I have the BBQ and a turkey we will smoke on it. Potluck sounds good to me. August 13th should work for me since my days off are changing soon and this will be one of them. Since there are tons of us all over the place let's say 2pm. For directions and address please pm me.

Another BYCer, KatyTheChickenLady, told me she and her DH are coming down here for Hot August Nights. Many of you probably know her from the forum and I'm sure they would have loved to BBQ with all the local BYCers!

I messaged Rob aka Nifty-Chicken about the poultry show in November and he said we can have bumper stickers and cards to hand out at the show. I think we would need to pay for the booth though unless the NNPFA would give us a break on a booth but I don't know about that one. Rob is going to try to make it to the show too depending upon his schedule. It would be nice if we could meet him as well. I will keep everyone updated.
