singing doesnt have to be something that makes you unhappy. you dont have to make a career of it, you can just do it for fun times!

thanks sunny! I just think she is really pretty and wanna show her off. I have been wanting to enter a chicken in a show someday, but as of now ALL of my girls are moulting except her. which stinks because the del we got from you is super gorgeous and loves attention. Today i was feeding everyone and i saw her and thought "sheesh"! she is so stunning!! i even looked at the feathersite birds and i think she could compete with them for sure! Reading feathersite it says that show quality barnevelders dont lay very dark eggs, so maybe thats her excuse? Either way it sounds like fun fun fun!

The singing part I love! Ha ha It's the other stuff that gets to be a drag. But yea, at this stage I just want to relax and enjoy life. I was such a workaholic for most of my life. Always running, always had to be busy, couldn't sit still (ok the ADHD didn't help) but yea even before we got to the dance I had someone from the dance call and ask if I wanted to make it a regular thing, then one of the board members says I should make it a regular thing and how fun it would be... IDK, it kinda irritates me cause I feel like they want a huge chunk of time from me with no mention of payment. How fun is that after a while?

I hate this! Why am I so torn on this? The people were so nice about it, one lady saying my voice "inspired her". I do like making folks happy... IDK maybe it's the band that plays there that is really holding me back. They never practice, they rarely get excited about their music, in fact I think that is why folks are pushing me so hard. The band that's there has gotten pretty blase. They really got into it the night I sang and it would be cool to do once in awhile.

OK I think I just answered my own question. Once in awhile is OK. Anything regular needs a salary to go with it!
