tyler how would you feel about meeting up with me friday to do the nails so saturday all i have to worry about is setting up, plus hopefully she wont be so traumatized by the whole trimming thing and can focus all of her attention on trying to kill the judges

eh, i think id feel better having her at home friday night. I just figured if you were gonna be dropping of your birds, I only live three minutes from the place, but i think im gonna be working friday night

Sorry. Hopefully you can get her there about 7:30 or so and I should be there by then. I'll clip her and you can give her a long time to recover.

I was thinking of setting up on Saturday but Friday works too for me, I'm off that day so I'll get there around sometime early evening/late afternoon.

Soooooooo, I have this chicken (ok, lots of chickens but one who is "different"). Her name is Picasso - she is a splash Orpington.


Every night of her life, but two - I have had to pick her up and put her on the roost at night. This is after she hears the geese honking - saying that I am coming to lock up the coop.

Does not matter how DARK out it is - she must be part owl or duck/goose to have such great night vision.

Picasso runs outta the coop and meets me near the run door, walks in front of me back to the pop door, goes into the coop and waits for me to come in. Once I am in, I pick her up and put her on an empty roost spot.
