At least 20 structures are gone and 1 person died from a heart attack. May this fire be out today once the rains & snow comes. I also pray Bartley Ranch is okay, I heard on the news windy hill his really burning right now.

I am hoping the snow comes early, but now it sounds like it will be a lot less snow than predicted but they say the winds will continue until 4 pm.

They were evacuating the people to Reno High School but it's full now and they opened another evacuating area at Galena High School. The fire so far is from Skyline Blvd down towards Lowe's, I don't know exactly how for East it is. It also reached to Del Monte Dr. going South. I'll keep everyone posted as much as possible.

Before I fell back asleep this morning - around 3ish - there was talk on channel 8 (they were live streaming) that the fire had jumped McCarran near Gibraltar.............

Is it true? Has the fire jumped McCarran?

Boy i sure hope it isnt inappropriate for me to post this amongst all the sad stuff going on right now...
but im just really excited

remember how the hatchery shorted me a blue polish and sent me a buff laced and i was bummed because i already have a buff laced and i wanted a good chance of getting a blue pullet?

Looks like the chick will feather out to be a splash - which is part of the Andalusian blue family (B,B,S - Blue, Black, Splash). I love the splash color and would love to see the APA accept it since they accept both the black and blue.
