Nevadans?

The roo that was on the same side as mama was actually in the Asiatic class and he won Best Asiatic. All the other birds on the other side of the table were the Continentals. We found that out when we looked at their tags.

Well, Thanksgiving is resting in the ice chest. It was quite an experience! Went off without a hitch. I can't wait 'til turkey day!

Way to go Ron!!! Mark and I are thinking of raising the two BR roosters we ended up with to eat, but I think it would be more trouble than it's worth because we would have to send them out to be killed and processed. Not to mention that when all is said and done I don't think I'll be able to eat them. Guess they will go on craigslist.

Harsh realities hit me today. I work at a coffee shop now and don't make the incredible amount of money I was making earlier this year with the trucking co. 8x12barn/ shed on CL for 500 bucks. It is weathered and cool looking and has A metal roof. I love it, oh I dream. I wish I still had money but at least I'm happier. I think I will start saving my tips from here on out though until I can afford to buy a shed. Ultimately I think that would be the best route to go now with my growing flock and plans to breed the goats (have to for milk

It was easier than I thought it would be. My nephew and I were thinking that the turkey being bigger than a chicken made it that way. I've never done a chicken though so I don't know for sure.

Was it the one in Truckee? Looks pretty cool - you certainly couldn't build it for that price!

Yes that one! They even said they would break it down to fit in the back of a pickup! It needs a little tlc but for the most part it looks awesome and I totally feel like I am missing out on a bargain
