Nevadans?

Oh my gosh Missy! I love your names of your chickens!

Here's pics from when we cut the tree Friday.

Love the names. Go to the California thread and you'll see my 4 youngest and their names.

AUBREY! You just brought back memories for me. Bill and I used to rehab and flip houses. I used to love bathrooms like that because I loved remodeling them. If I owned this place that and the kitchen would be in pieces right now, so I could do it here.

great photos!

sheryl, what a beautiful tree! glad you got to do that this year.

aubrey, can't wait to see photos of the bathroom redo!

americanvalkyrie, what a bunch of cuties you have!

Here's my son with the polish frizzle. I guess my daughter got out of the photo.

oh Seth. You are going down this year. No one smack talks me and wins.
I am tight with the judges and I know how much money each judge listens too.

Remember that those reuse stores are not just for chicken coops. LOL Small carpet amd flooring companies are good for getting left overs from large jobs that can sometimes carpet an entire house or tile it. I like small companies. For us they were great because most of the houses were out of state and they liked that we bought from them and not Lowes or HD. There are great cabinet makers and lots of them out of work right now, so lots of discounts. You can landscape for practically free and curb appeal is everything. LOL Amazing what you can do on so little. We used to find tons of free paints from larger jobs. All listed back then in the fleamarket papers. Now you have CL and a ton of places online to look. The part I have problems with is transportation. Can't shove too much into my car and don't think I'd want to. It's the only thing I have that truely has a cash value, although I doubt I'll ever get back what I put into it. Not smart from someone who used to restore or soup up old cars huh? hehe.

Thing is bathrooms and kitchens are the biggest improvement points, so you're already on track. I can't wait to see the pics of your new bathroom.
