Nevadans?

Hey missy maybe you can ask a friend for help? A while back when I was overrun with roosters a friend offered to do the deed when they started crowing in exchange for their meat. At least then they wouldn't have to go for no reason. I wish roosters weren't so noisy so you could jus keep em :(

I just need to toughen up. We're currently raising rabbits for meat, and we already butchered Extra Crispy last year. My husband is even willing to do the killing if I do the processing. I just need to face reality.

LOL! We haven't heard from Mandy in awhile. Hope everything is OK with her.

Hopefully she's just busy with her property.

Do not know why the smileys aren't showing up on my phone but I wanted to send you the biggest fattest hug smiley ever!

Hugs anyway!

The perfect way to spend some time while my bread rises. You know, I could be cleaning out a coop right now, or digging in the dirt.

Yep we couldn't buy one to buy so we are building one
we are going with the4x5 coop and the 5x6 and 7inces run.( the 7inches were just extra on the lumber so we kept them.

I think duckling cuddling time is a perfectly productive activity! I am planning a coop clean out this weekend. Yuck! I need to get some more trash bins for composting and make sure I wear a mask. the dust always gets my sinuses clogged.

good luck on the build!

Now I'm sitting here typing one-handed because my silkie chick has huge poop-nuggets on her toes, and I'm keeping her feet in warm water to soak them off. It's been 15 minutes so far. Anyone know of a faster way to remove poop nuggets? They're so big they weigh her toes down when I pick her up.

OMG! After my last post my laptop went crazy. I ran Norton and tried again and an ad window kept through up all over my screen. I tried to get the link for the pamphlets, but when I search or put the addie in I get the same site over and over and over. Been trying to get back in here for hours, but the page just kept spinning and saying connecting. I really need to get this thing to my daughter's friend's NASA boyfriend so he can fix it for me.

OK

I found the packet and DUH! USDA. I order a free poultry (well 2 or Kayla would take mine LOL) calender every year. They have tons of info and I even have 2 copies of the cd "Keep Your Birds Healthy....3 Easy Steps." I'm not sure but I think it's unlimited as far as flyers and pamphlets. Anyway, I'm not going to try to search again till later, so I don't have to deal with the mess again. I would, just too frustrated.
