Nevadans?

have a good day, everyone! looks like there's a small chance of thunderstorms tomorrow. that would be nice if we'd get a little rain but I won't hold my breath.
Just checking in quickly before I crash. I went to the doc today and, to make a long story short, I have a massive ear infection that has spread to my glands etc. Never had an ear infection before so I didn't realize how serious they can get. I can't even move my jaw or head without horrible pain. Hope the meds kick it super fast! :(

Hope you all are having a better day than me...
Hope you feel better soon! that sounds miserable. rest a lot!
OUCH! I remember that pain. Hopefully by the time you read this, the meds will be starting to work. You can't mess around with that stuff. My whole family is so prone to them it's unreal.

Get better!

I just couldn't move today. Yesterday. I sat or laid around all day other than running in the morning and then picking up more wire and feed. Glad I cleaned and refilled everything the day before, because I didn't even go out back all day. I'm out of ACV and I think I know what's happening with my shoulder. I had calcium deposits in the joints yearas ago and this is the pain that it started with before I had huge lumps in my shoulder. 6 weeks of ACV and they were down to tiny bumps that you have to touch to know they were there and then they were gone. I don't take the stuff like I used to, but I'm thinking I need to get back to it and stay with it from now on. Ice touching me, feels like birns. Don't know why, but I've always been that way. I might just try anyway to see if I can get the inflamation down. It's really hot to the touch.

You know what's weird? When we left the Bay, we could afford it, but I wanted to be out here by my daughter and her kids. Dummy me! LOL It's ever getting back there that's the hard part. Plus I'd need millions to be able to have the space I need and areas for animals. Wish it was like it was when I was a kid.
I hope you feel better soon too! i probably should be taking ACV on a regular basis too. just one more thing i'm not doing! i'm sure it would help my sinuses and my joint pain.

Really? It helps sinuses and joint pain? I have both of those. How do you take it?

that's what I've heard. I would put some in water and drink it. I would have to do some googling to find out how much is recommended. Or maybe Kim knows.

Ok, I did a little research. Put about 1-2 Tablespoons in a glass of water and drink it. If you google it, there are lots of different health issues it can help with.

My problem with making ACV is space. I really have no space in this house. It's aweful. I am going to be making some eventually, but for now I have to deal.

If you all ever met anyone I've known for years, they'd tell you I'm always pushing ACV. I always have. Way before chickens. I have a lot of issues I've taken it for and I always tell others to try it.

About 20 years ago I had a friend whos mom had arthritis so bad she was about to go from a walker to a wheelchair. I have arthritis and don't practice what I preach lately, but I did back then. I bought her mom a bottle and within 2 months she didn't need the walker. I haven't seen them in about 8 years, but that was 12 years of her felling better. So, I had this customer at the last bar I worked at and he could be extremely obnoxious. He came in one night and was in so much pain from brusitis that he could barely move. I told him about the ACV and about my friend's mom and everything I used it for. Then I told him that once it worked he better let people know when I was suggesting it for whatever issues they had. Two days later, he came in and started yelling about how I saved him and that the ACV was a miracle. Matter of fact, he got so carried away he was irritating then too. LOL Bill always made sure I had ACV and Arnica gel for everything. I had it in the car, the house and at work. Two of the other bartenders started hitting my stash when I told them it helps regulate weight. You lose if you need to and gain if you need to. The both lost a lot of weight after a while and then some of the regular female customers started taking it too. I even suggested it to a man who had an old dog, that just wasn't doing well and the dog got to where she could move around and not need help. She was really old, but she lived another couple of years. The reason he came to me for his dog, was she had a skin problem and I told him what to use, so whenever he had a problem he came to me. I used to get that a lot. I'd walk in for work and someone had a dog question and my boss would yell "The doctor is in!"

No, you don't, it is okay, I am glad I don't live there any more, and yes, I would want to move to the bay area too! Who doesn't? But who has the money is the question

. My aunt used to live in Ceres, it is kinda scary at night there with all of the houses so spread out and all of that tall grass, haha! I think you need to take a break for a day and ice your shoulders, arms and back, and then take some advil. Advil really is amazing!
Um, this guy! I'll never willingly move back to a big city; I've had my fill of them, thank you!

Oh that is such a bummer! I have had them before and it is definitely not fun. I hope you get well soon!

Kim you sound like a woman I work with! But she is always trying to push horse remedies on me (she's a horse person, in case you hadn't guessed

). However, most of her remedies seem to work, and since I have similar issues like you are talking about, I think I will jump on the ACV bandwagon! How much would one take and how often? You don't just drink it straight, do you? For instance, if I had arthritis issues and also to regulate weight?

I love ACV, too. I have a tablespoon with a tablespoon of honey in a big glass of water before a meal. (Ron, you're halfway there!) Takes a little getting used to, but it works!

Do you take it before every meal Dee?

My Dad used to (probably still does) drink ACV with honey in a coffee mug with hot water and then he'd sprinkle in some cayenne pepper too! Yikes! It actually tastes pretty good if you don't get too much cayenne!
I think I'll have to take your word for it on that one Lacy!
