never done this before......

    ok i have a duck on a nest on my pond and was wanting to move it to a safer location how do u do this?
    and will she accept them?

    I've moved numerous broody chicken hens but i dont know about a duck, they have all their fluff and stuff and i think it would probably make her pretty mad.

    It has been my experience so far that ducks will not except a nest once it is moved. There is probably an exception but I would not move it unless you have no other option whatsoever.

    When I had my ducks penned up and only had one hen I had to move her nest a few times because the goats kept finding it and stepping on it - but then again it was in a dog house so i just moved the dog house all over the pen and she always got back on.
