Never fitted in anywhere

Well my hubby is one of those people that never seem to fit in anywhere, and everywhere. I know he is "unique" but strange to alot of folks.

We're the opposite. My DH is the always the life of the party, the comedian on center stage, and I love it (and him

) He can have the spotlight and keep it away from me, thank you very much! I dread making conversation about topics which I know nothing about and care nothing about. To me, it's a waste of time. To him, it's fun! He has a zllion freinds, I have a select few. To each his own I say

My hubby is somewhat like that too, whenever he wears his kilts, he has to be in the center of attention or "grandstanding". My daughter has a bit of his trait and very outgoing, not afraid of strangers. I'm sort of "checking you out first" and if there is nothing there, I'll move on or sit quietly.

Alot of it due to his abusive upbringing. That's another story.

Emerald green stands out (that's my fav) or fushia.

Okay. I love green! I'm thinking of something really wacky with a poofy skirt. Fuschia would probably suit my skin tone better though.

I have to say though, I have jet-black hair so green would look awesome.

EweSheep: Me also! I would never go up to someone and start talking. I leave that up to the more outgoing people and observe from afar either until:
a) They ask me for the time
b) I am forcefully introduced
c) Someone I know starts talking to them, then I'll go over under the pretense of talking to them.

Thanks everyone else for your input, it's been interesting reading all your responses.

Why would you want to be like everyone else? Conforming, bland, nothing that makes you who you are............why would you want to be a robot?
Society is taking away our uniqueness<sp>. Dont be different, be careful what you say, you cant wear anything that stands out or is offensive to someone else. You cant say what you want or do what you want because you might tick someone off.
If everyone was the same and "fit in", where would our personality come from? If everyone thought alike, did the same thing the same way, wore the same clothes and hairstyles, we would be nothing but clones, with no free will or right to be ourselves.
I dont fit in, and I dont care. I always tell people, you dont like the way I dress, the way I talk, the things I do, then there is the door...............Be yourself, and people will like you for who you are. Just be.
