I just noticed these dark spots on my hen’s comb!y three others look fine, but for how long?? I change the pine shavings in their roost regularly, always have fresh water and feed scratch n peck organic plus free range garden snacking nearly every day. She’s eating and drinking normally and no signs of distress other than these spots. Help! Even though you figured out it was dirt, it may be good to add the pictures of what you saw back to your post. This happens often, and gives people a little reference to what dirt looks like on a comb.
