New accidental bird

Today I had a text saying I have a new friend. Seems Hei Hei here escaped from somewhere and my husband picked her up and put her in our old chicken coop. By the time I got home she was settled in. She's very friendly, eating well, and I set up a new nest box with extra hay for her. She even gave us an egg as a present already.

sorry to say, chickens don't wander from home, they get dumped. On the up side, leghorns are great!

Awe, she is such a cute one! She does look a little "sprazzled" but definitely a beautiful chicken and she lays!

I think she jumped from a vehicle but no way to tell for sure. She's sweet. Now to decide if we get her a friend because we're putting the house up for sale soon.

I was just wondering why you named her Hei Hei, is it cause of the movie Moana.

I don't know if adult chickens fall for the chicken in the mirror like chicks do. I think she looks ragged because maybe some dog or cat yanked her tail feathers. But she escaped.
Do check her for lice, mites, and poo sample for worms.

We have been to hotel that had only one swan, (an adult) and they had a mirror for it.
