I agree. I can always build another aviary and put them in there. I hate that I saw these beautiful birds because now I will get some from Andy.

Well, when I first started researching the next pets that I wanted it was a toss up between peafowl or alpacas.

So, I decided to go with peafowl. All the information that I read explained that first time peafowl owners would do well with Indian Blues, so that's what I got. But now that I have seen the green, I want them in addition to my Indian Blues. So, 6 will be my limit. I have 4 India Blues and I will keep them forever and ever and ever. But I can also get 2 greens and have them in a separate quarters from my IBs.

There you go! Lol I too would need a new pen for greens. All of a sudden a few days ago my dad sad, "Hey, why don't we buy some green peafowl and turn them lose on that new land we are going to get!" I just stared at him and started laughing. Then he said, "What I thought since they are more wild they would do pretty well free-range." I explained that 1. they are endangered so why risk buying some and just turning them lose. 2. With how much they cost you don't want to do that. Anyways you would probably hardly ever see them free-range in the woods. I would want them displayed nicely so I could always enjoy their beauty! Then my dad said "Oh that is right they are the flighty ones." I said we could let lose some spaldings over there though maybe...Or something. What peafowl does best with giant diamondback rattlesnakes?

I don't even know who I would get greens from anyways. I sorta like the imperator a lot.

Its sooooo hard to sex javas kuntry girl, especially when they are young. I'll let you know as soon as they start hatching, tho you might have to take ur chances with sexing them, i couldn't determine wither mine was a peacock or a peahen intill recently. They are very pretty tho.

Yeah for a while there it was hard to know what Andy had. At first it was a peacock, then maybe it was a peahen, but now for sure it is a peacock. I remember all that discussion about it. Andy's Java has certainly colored out since then.
