Check with some of the top breeders.....so many spalding are being sold as Javas......best to get them DNA sexed for pairs.

DNA ranges around $20 per bird, but you get the results right away. I use a place out of Tallahassee.

Prices depend on location, breeder, quality etc etc..... I am not familiar with going rates....

It all depends on where you get your birds and how old they are I suppose. I almost bought a pair for over $400 for yearling java's. I ended up buying 1 for $225 for the java peacock as a yearling, well lets just say it was sold to me as a java, i have yet to get it tested but I plan too.

That is the problem. I am still lost for prices when it comes to green peafowl. I understand what prices are good for blues and their varieties and even spaldings but when it comes to greens I wouldn't know what a good price would be!
