When I was a bit younger I raised fryer chicks. Loved raising them but hated sending them to get dressed for my dinner. Now a few years down the road, I have 5 hens. They are roughly 6 months old and just as much fun as when I was younger. I figured I could learn a few things... Or maybe a bunch of things and came here straight away. I had come here once a year ago to look up some info on a sick bird for a friend and just loved it. Glad to be here permanently. [IMG]

Glad to have you, there are many goat, chick, duck etc. folks on here. Chickens are considered the "gateway" to getting other poultry & livestock.
