It might take a little extra duct tape but it would work.

Lowes, homer depot, or any other plumbing or garden supply store should have the parts. These fittings are normally used for drip irrigation systems.
You can get "T" fittings with hose barbs in sizes from 1/4 inch and up. the threads on the cups are 1/4 inch NPT. So just get some hose barb fittings with 1/4 NPT "female" threads.

I must say to the both of you, y'all did an excellent job with your coop. You should win "coop of the year"! Being new to Alaska your coop also gives me some great ideas for our coop design. Thanks for posting so many pictures, the more the merrier!

That is a gorgeous coop. Love the water system and the feed system. Great job. Now in the winter what will you do for heat, I might have missed it in the previous posts. You did a great job on that. Very impressive.
